Any car doing over, say 120mph, or if you think that is too low, say 150mph, would benefit from the additional stability given by a wing. What is the difference between a lip style wing and a GT wing? Their purpose is the same. But one is considered ricey and one is not? 10 years ago, most GT race cars use lip-style wings, the fact that your TT has a lip-style wing, does that mean you are a poseur? If a car is capable of easily doing over 150mph, why not put on a GT wing instead of a lip wing?
